Verulamians U15s v Harrow U15s 53 - 0

On a beautiful sunny Sunday morning at the Vees home ground, the newly promoted to division 4 under 15’s kicked off their league program against Harrow.

Harrow kicked off and the first 5 minutes was a bit of to and throw with both sides finding their feet.
Arthur soon broke the deadlock after a deft pass from Freddie C. Freddie converted.

Soon after Luca powered over the line with a well deserved try.

The Vees then really began to show their dominance with Arthur scoring 3 good tries, one of these should of been touched down by Freddie S, but his selfless play gave Arthur the final touch.

Second Half

The Vees having made a few changes took a little while to get back into their stride.

Alex scored on his league debut for the Vees after being held up a couple of minutes before.
Freddie S converted.

The pacey under 14’s Jayden then scored a good individual try bursting through the defensive line.

Jonny finished off the try scoring with a well deserved try using his pace and power. Freddie C conversion.

The Vees were just too fierce and tenacious for Harrow. With a few key players injured the rest of the squad really stepped up and showed what a good squad of players they have.

Notable performances from Charlie W, and Iwan, with both players showing tough tackling and ball carrying. A well deserved division 4 debut for the mighty under 15 Vees.
