RFU Guidance

RFU Guidance We are keen to encourage rugby to be played.

Some guidance has been gained from the RFU to ensure grassroots Rugby continues. Please ensure this information is conveyed to our members, players, parents, guardians, and Visitors.

Matches and training should go ahead as normal

• Encouraging players, coaches, members, match officials, to undertake Lateral Flow Tests ahead of attending and to self-isolate and follow government guidance if the test is positive.

• Minimising use of changing rooms - encourage players to arrive in kit. If changing rooms or treatment rooms are required, facemasks must be worn and rooms should be ventilated where possible.

• Minimising use of social spaces, ventilating where possible and keep spacing within rooms.

• Ensuring hand sanitisers are readily available. Found in toilets on the bar and by entrance or exit to the clubhouse.

• Reminding members to follow government and public health guidance on mask wearing – Masks must be worn within the clubhouse, Kitchen, and toilets. Unless eating, drinking, or seated. A limited number of tables and chairs will be available for use.

• Minimising travel with other people.
