SUNDAY MORNING CHANGE OF PROCEDURE

Hello Everyone,

It was great to see everyone back at the club last Sunday enjoying their Rugby and adhering to the new social distancing rules and regulations and seeing the enjoyment on all players faces, especially in such wonderful weather.

However, considering the increase in Covid cases nationally and locally (some school years being sent home) we feel we need to add an additional precaution on Sunday mornings and introduce temperature checks on all players attending. If a player registers a high temperature, then they will be asked to isolate from the others immediately and a parent asked to take them home and isolate for 10 days. If parents wish we can also check their temperature on the side lines. Can we please ask all parents do not leave the club until after the session is over in case of any emergencies. Please ensure you register your attendance via the track and trace QR code system found around the clubhouse and field. Please see note below from the Herts RFU Safeguarding officer.

"Given that the children operate in bubbles at school, it should be ok to only exclude the ones in the bubble affected. You should be able to follow the lead of the advice given by the school who would have only instructed isolation for those likely to have been in close contact with the affected children.

If parents are uncertain, it may be better that they take a safety first approach."

The Clubhouse will be open for toilet use and refreshments from the kitchen including bacon butties, hot dogs, burgers, hot and cold drinks, and bar snacks. The coffee machine is open for business so please remember your change(£2). Vegetarian Sausages and burgers are available.

We are short of volunteers for this Sunday, please let Nicola know if you can help in anyway with parking, kitchen or general marshalling - nicoladiplock24@gmail.com

Looking forward to seeing you all again this Sunday and hopefully decent weather again. Spread the word to all your friends and family that we are open and prepared for new players and parents.
